Axios reports that Prime Therapeutics, a pharmacy benefits manager, will use a ‘hub and home’ hybrid model where employees will use their home offices for individual work and then go to the company’s HQ for collaboration and socialization.
The company employs nearly 2,200 people in the Twin Cities and recently finished a 400,000 square foot office in Eagan in 2019. From a survey last summer, 93% of employees were OK or better with working from home, but nearly 70% wanted office time as well.
They will experiment with other changes like eliminating assigned desks in the building and rooms will have movable furniture so that the space can be reconfigured like Legos (or perhaps a dystopian Ikea).
What do you think? In a post-vaccine world, are you itching to return to the office? Or is your new work from home habit here to stay?
